Aircraft

We have a number of WWII aircraft, several of which are flight worthy, like the Tiger Moth in this photo! You can even book a flight in one of these beautifully restored training airplanes!

Motor Vehicles

Our collection includes several vehicles typical of those used in the BCATP. They range from a staff car to a crash tender, and many more. Many of these vehicles are in operating condition, and some, like our tractor are still used in the museum today!

Exhibits and Artifacts

In addition to aircraft and vehicles, we have many exhibits, including uniforms, artifacts from the BCATP and the home front, and photographs.

Buildings

Our buildings include the main hanger and newly renovated canteen in their original locations. There are 3 other buildings moved in that date to WWII. The photo shows the canteen and H Huts in behind it. You can even rent the canteen for meetings or events!

Archives & Special Projects

We have a large number of items in our archives – from physical items, like uniforms, and thousands of documents and photos. One favourite item is the ‘Barber Book’ shown in the photo. This book has the signatures of over 22, 000 airmen who had their hair cut at No. 2 Manning Depot.

RCAF WWII Memorial Wall

The memorial wall was unveiled in 2014, it is a 300 foot wall of black granite, a beautiful memorial to those who gave their lives serving in a Commonwealth air force.
